The present paper describes the adaptation of the Parent-Toddler Group program that was developed at the Anna Freud Centre in London and the way it was applied in Athens Greece. It constitutes an early intervention program whose target is to support and encourage the parent-toddler relationship. We describe the application of the parent-toddler group project in Greece and examine it from the perspective of the group processes. The clinical material that will be presented comes from the last year that the parenttoddler group was in operation, attempting to illustrate the parallel operation of the three groups constituting the program: parents and toddlers, coordinators and supervisors and trainees that seem to be interconnected and complementary to one another. We will try to show that, as these groups are ”parts” of the same program, they are organized on the basis of a shared theme that has to do with the developmental phase of toddlerhood, the group processes, and the history of the program.en_US
