The refugee crisis, which began in 2011 in Syria and Iraq and peaked in 2015, has significantly increased the refugee flow to Greece. Most of these refugees have left Greece and settled in other destinations in European countries, but a significant number have settled permanently in Greece. By 2018, about 50,000 asylum seekers had been granted refugee status or subsidiary protection by the Greek state, creating the need to implement an organized policy on their integration into Greek society. The National Strategy for Inclusion began as a pilot, in June 2019, through the HELIOS project. Among the main goals of the program are to support the employment of refugees and their integration into the Greek labor market. Based on the above, the purpose of this article is to research the attitudes of humanitarian professionals on the island of Chios, regarding the use of e-Government and its role in the labor integration of recognized refugees and beneficiaries of supplementary protection in Greece. The method applied on the proposed project is qualitative, and as a tool for data collection a structured interview was conducted on a sample of 12 employees. According to the survey, professionals have a positive attitude toward the use of e-Government services and believe that these services are used by refugees and can help in their labor integration in Greece, but there are certain obstacles that reduce the use of such services. It is concluded that e-Government services in Greece need to be restructured in order to increase their use amongst refugees.en_US
