The procedures of interactive multicriteria decision making methods require a high degree of reliability on the part of the Decision Maker (DM) in the iterative dialogues so that his/her real preferences can be defined. Artificial intelligence and visual techniques are embedded in the decision making process aiming to help the DM understand the real nature of the problem, manage the data and understand his/her cognitive style. This paper presents the embedding of visual techniques in the procedures of intelligence Decision Aiding Systems. The new WINDOWS version of the MINORA system, which realizes the aforementioned approach and a set of furthermore facilities, is presented also through an illustrated example.en_US
