Abstract:
This study examined the Goodenough-Harris Drawing Test (Harris, 1963) and Naglieri's Draw-a-Person: A Quantitative Scoring System (1988) scoring system for a sample of 114 Greek children. Analyses indicated non-significant mean standard score differences between the two scoring systems for the man, woman, self and total score drawings. Correlations between Naglieri's DAP individual drawings and the DAP Total Test with the Goodenough-Harris scores were high and significant providing validity support for the Naglieri scoring system. Implications of these results for use of the measures, particularly by Greek psychologists, are presented.
