The 5th Generation of mobile communication systems not only brings out significant technological changes but also enables new business models with the offering of new use cases involving partners from various sectors of the market. In the new ecosystems, the role of the Mobile Network Operators (MNO) is evolving and transformation is required. In the current paper the roles and the business models of MNOs are presented focusing on the future value from 5G use cases. Also, a theoretical methodology is presented for the scenarios' creation for the new BM combined with selection criteria for matching them with the strategy and business goals of a MNO.en_US
