Abstract:
Several studies conclude that there is a positive relation between environmental and social investing performance and managerial value, as well as the stock value of “green, social and best corporate governance” companies. At the same time, there is an increased need for methods and techniques for the evaluation of the environmental and social performance of firms. In this study, we develop a framework for firm evaluation in terms of their environmental, social and corporate governance with the use of a set of financial indexes. Our research aims to contribute to the gradual incorporation of environmental, social and corporate governance criteria to an everyday financial analysis.
