Abstract: | This article examines, from the viewpoint of archival science, the possibility of creating a common framework for information science in the academic and professional fields alike. Information management, both as an academic platform and as an occupation, makes it necessary for library studies and archival science to co-exist in the curricula of higher education institutions, and for libraries and archives to cooperate on a practical level. |
