Abstract:
The health care sector today is found in the threshold of important managerial changes and political challenges. Diagnosis Related Groups (DRGs) constitutes the method with which the public sector can classify each clinical incident with a concrete code debit on the base of patient diagnosis and the relative clinical interventions or medical actions. This article aims to investigate user's acceptance of DRG's information quality in Greece in public and private hospitals using electronic patient care records. First results are showing positive reactions and expectations from health care and managerial users of DRGs.
